March 2018 Milestones:
1. PMKVY in association with HCI has conducted Kaushal mela as a part of GDA promotion on 3rd March at Elamkunnapuzha Grama Panchayath Community Hall. V K Krishnan (President, Elamkunnapuzha Grama Panchayath) and Mr. K S Radhakrishnan (Standing Committee Chairman, Health & Education, Elamkunnapuzha) were the main guests for the event, which commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Basil Varkey. The PMKVY process, features and benefits were explained in detail to the candidates by Ms. Tintu Varghese, Manager (Academics) and Mr. Jain Paul N P, Course Coordinator and around 80 students participated in this.
2. TOT for ASAP educators was held in HCI for 10 days from 9th March to 17th It was organized in association with the Healthcare Sector Skill Council of India. The sessions were handled by Mr. Jeril Cherian.
3. HCI has successfully completed the enrollment of 100 students for GDA under PMKVY from March 2017 to March 2018, the time period which was allotted by the government.
4. Interviews were conducted for NCAP Middle East students by Alia International Hospital, Kuwait. Around 8 students attended the interview and 7 were selected. Congratulations!
5. The AHA team has provided ACLS and BLS training for the staff at Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi from 14th to 16th March 2018.
6. Simon Schweigert- COO – International Education has visited HCI on 19th March 2018.
7. The fourth batch of GDA started from 21st March 2018.
8. Skype interviews were conducted for the NCAP UK students by Mr. Joe, Recruitment and training executive of Altum resources on 22nd March 2018.
9. An in-service education was conducted on “Cervical spondylosis”. The session was taken by Ms. Anjali V R on 23rd March 2018.
10. Binuraj and Mr. Madhu have joined our institute this month and we heartily welcome them to the HCI family.
11. The marketing team has conducted NCAP, OET and ECU promotion at Lakeshore hospital, KIMS and Renai Medicity Kochi.
