THE HCG BULLETIN December 2018 Editorial

Here we are in the midst of winter, with all the local bakeries working overtime baking plum cakes and Christmas savouries, and laughter and warmth a-plenty in the cool air! There’s always a special magic about this holiday season that brings out the best in people everywhere. We so love to celebrate this spirit of joy and merriment … and only wish it could last the whole year around!

We had our traditional festivities across all our offices this year as always, and bring you pictures of the fun we had celebrating the Christmas spirit with our apple-cheeked, roly-poly Santa! December is generally a peaceful month at work, where people set out to refresh and renew themselves and take time off to connect with loved ones. We’ve chronicled the events that did happen in this quiet month for you. We also bring you a health article on the right use of antibiotics.

In the blink of an eye we have already reached the end of a highly eventful year, which was a mixed bag of many good and (hopefully few) bad happenings. Every New Year brings with it the promise of new beginnings and fresh starts—and is also a time for quiet reflections. Take a look back at your own experiences this year. Send up a prayer of thanks for all the good things that happened to you, and you’ll be sure to get more of them in the coming year. If things didn’t go all that great….well, then, make a plan of action and ensure that you reverse this trend in the days to come!

From all of us at HCG, we send you our warmest wishes, love and light this New Year. Here’s wishing you all the courage, faith and determination you need to achieve all your desires in 2019.

That’s it from me for this year, then. When you sit back with your cup of hot cocoa, do take some time out to send in an email with your feedback and ideas to usha@mwtedu.com.

Signing off now with heartfelt good wishes and much love. Take care!
