ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is the urgent clinical intervention that is necessary to treat cardiac arrest, stroke or other such life threatening medical emergency situations.

BLS (Basic Life Support)training classes are a must for all healthcare professionals  to be able to give the required timely help in emergency situations such as choking, drowning, accidents and so on. Patients who have life threatening injuries need to be given basic life support intervention till they can be taken to a hospital and given proper medical care.
IHM conducted classes in BLS and ACLS in February, and our accredited trainers imparted professional knowledge in these courses to our nursing students. The BLS course on 26th January was conducted by Sini Jacob who was assisted by Sejo Sebastian (Nurse Educator), while the ACLS course was conducted on 27th and 28th January by Mini Paul.
Good luck to all of you!
