MWT BULLETIN – June 2016 Editorial

Another whole month has gone past and it’s time for your monthly newsletter again! A lot of things are going on this month that need your attention.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the independent professional regulator for nurses and midwives in the UK, has amended English test requirements for applicants trained outside the UK. These changes will add more flexibility for applicants while at the same time ensuring that the required standard of English language is not compromised. Meantime, there is a new simplified visa process for Australia, the SSVF, which is designed to make the student visa framework easier to navigate for genuine students. Many changes have been happening – do call upon your expert counsellors at MWT, or send in an email, to get to know more!

The ancient spiritual practice of yoga has today reinvented itself as an elitist industry, and it is an age-old tradition that has stood the test of time. June 21st was World Yoga Day and we bring you an article on the origin of this practice.
