The IHM team conducted American Heart Association’s (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) classes at various places. Our instructors led the course with competence.
September 2016 Milestones:
- Institute of Health and Management in conjunction with Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences(AIMS) organised the International Seminar on Nursing Leadership on 08.09.2016 at Vigyan Mandhir, AIMS Kochi. The delegates were Nurse Leaders from various reputed hospitals. This one day seminar included thought enhancing panel discussions, interactive discussions and a forum to share experiences and stories. The event was very well attended.

Ms. Teagan Green , Clinical Placement Manager, Ballarat Health Services leading her session on’Evidence based Nursing Practices in Health for Future Employment Outlook’.
Bri. Sai Bala M, Nursing Director of AIMS shared 11 lessons in successful leadership.

2. Ms Natasha Carfi, Lead nurse educator of Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) visited our institution between the 8th and the 19th of September 2016.
3. The festival of Onam was celebrated on 9th September with all its spirit and enthusiasm. This year Onam at MWT was an extra special event as we had with us our distinguished guests from Health Careers, Australia who thoroughly enjoyed being greeted by Maveli, watching all the dances and songs, and taking part in the sumptuous saddya lunch! We bring you a few pictures taken during this memorable event.
- The Institute of Health and Management secured the overall rolling trophy for the competitions held.
4. Mr Dini Domini , Mr Jeril Cherian and Ms Tintu Varghese attended a Training Service Providers Meet on 7th Sep 2016 at Mascot Hotel , Thiruvananthapuram .
5. Ms Elmy Baby led a session on “IV Cannulation” on the 23rd of September 2016.
6. A session on “Basic Life Support and First Aid” was conducted by Mr Sreejith and Mr Jain on 27th of September 2016.
7. A session on “Restraints” was conducted by Mr Jeril Cherian on 29th of September 2016.
