News in brief:

• The affiliation certificate from HSSC(Health Sector Skill Council) has been received.
• A career guidance class was held at Kochi Nursing College, Kalamassery, Kerala.
• The IHM staff enjoyed a one day trip to Munnar on 4^th
• Ms Aleyamma Ninan, and Ms Reeba Baby Thomas have successfully completed the American Safety and Healthy Institute’s(ASHI) Instructor Course- congratulations to them!
• Diwali was celebrated on 22^nd
• We welcome Mr Sreejith MP and Mr Depaul who have joined our institution as nurse educators.
• We plan to start IELTS training for nursing students in Survodaya college of nursing in Bangalore .

CURRICULUM RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Effective 22^nd October, IHM’s Course Development team has been renamed as the Curriculum Research and Development team.

This team, comprising 10 educators, will develop E-learning and Face-to-face course content for national and international clients. They are well supported by narrators, quality analysts and language experts.

IHM’S ONLINE MIDDLE EAST EXAM COACHING

IHM has successfully introduced training classes for HAAD, MOH, PROMETRIC and DHA. This training will be delivered in the online, blended and face-to-face delivery modes, and will enable the working nurse to successfully pass the Middle East registration exam. Ms. Sheenu – staff nurse in Sunrise Hospital- is our very first enrolment for the Face-to-face training.

NEW IELTS CLASSES IN BANGALORE

Starting November 20^th, we will be conducting IELTS training for nursing students in the Survodaya College of Nursing in Bangalore. The programme will help the nurses to communicate in good English, as well as teach them the basic usage of Grammar.

• ACLS class conducted at Sunrise hospital, Kakkanadu
• Number of students :22

October 7^th- 10^th

• Venue was Cosmopolitan ,Trivandrum
• Number of students :33
• Course delivery instructor : Mr. Baiju Azad

October 7^th -10^th

• Both ACLS and BLS classes were conducted at Adarsh Academy, Trivandrum.
• Number of students :15
• Course delivery instructor : Mr. Sijo Sebastian and team

October 10^th-12^th

• Newman’s Angamaly was the venue for ACLS & BLS class.
• Number of students :8
• Course delivery instructor : Mr. Sijo Sebastian and team

October 13^th- 15^th

• Both ACLS and BLS classes were held at Career World ,Mannar
• Number of students :21

October 14^th -16^th

• Both BLS and ACLS classes were held at Simon’s Academy, Kollam

• Both BLs and ACLS class was conducted at BGUD Mavelikkara
• Mr Sijo and Mr Jeril were the instructors
• On these same days, classes were conducted in St Alphonsa Academy.

October 27^th -30^th

• Both ACLS and BLS classes were conducted at our institution for 4 days.
• Baiju, Jerrin and Binu were the lead instructors.
