MWT-IHM has completed a hugely successful year as an AHA approved Institute for conducting their world acclaimed ACLS and BLS courses.
This month, we were able to start the first batch of training workshops at the Smart Nurse Academy, Thrissur. The Smart Nurse Academy is a leading coaching centre that prepares students for various licensing exams such as the HAAD(Abu Dhabi), PROMETRIC(Qatar), DOH (Dubai), NCLEX – RN (USA), CRNE (Canada) and so on. We will be having a continued association with them for training workshops.
CNE (Continuous Nursing Education) Programs have been instituted at various leading hospitals in the city. An Infection Control Course was conducted at Sree Sudheendra Hospital in Kochi on 12th August, and a Blood Transfusion Program was conducted at Akshaya Hospital, Kadavanthra on the 13th August.
Career guidance workshops were held to counsel and guide young professionals, at the School of Medical Education (SME) in Thevara, Kochi on the 7th August, and at SME Puthupally, Kottayam on the 11th August.
Eleven successful workshops were held at various venues in August. Here are the details:
August 4th to 7th
• Class conducted at IHM,Kochi.
• Total 10 students attended the 4 days course.
• The course delivery instructor was Mr.Sijo Sebastian.
• Other team members were Mr. Aravind and Mr. Aneesh.
August 4th to 6th
• Venue was Leedz Academy, Thrissur
• A total of 15 students attended.
• The lead instructor of the course was Mr. Baiju Azad.
August 8th to 10th
• Both ACLS and BLS classes were conducted at Simon’s Academy ,Kollam.
• 7 students attended the courses.

• 19 members attended the classes.

August 11th to 13th

• Mr.Baiju and team were the instructors for both BLS and ACLS classes.
August 14th to 16th
• The venue for the class was B-GHUD, Mavelikkara.
• Both BLS and ACLS classes were organized.
• 21 students attended.

August 19th to 21st
• Course delivery of ACLS was held at Medcity, Kannur

August 22nd to 24th
• Course delivery of ACLS held at Adarsh Academy, Pathanamthitta.

August 22nd to 24th
• St.Alphonsa, Thodupuzha hosted the ACLS & BLS classes.
• Mr. Baiju Azad, Mr Jerrin Joy, and Ms Neethu Paul were the lead instructors.
• 18 students attended.
August 25th to 27th
• Smart Nurse Academy, Thrissur was the venue for BLS and ACLS classes.
• This was the first batch of students from the Smart Nurse Training Centre.
• 27 students attended.

• Classes were held at Medcity, Kannur.
• Both BLS and ACLS classes were conducted.
• 39 students attended the course.
