SEMINAR ON INDO-AUSTRALIAN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

The MWT Institute of Health and Management in conjunction with IHNA, Australia will be conducting a Seminar on the Indo-Australian Healthcare System on the 12th of September 2013 at 9.30 a.m. The seminar will be held at The International Hotel M G Road, Ernakulam, Kerala.

This seminar will explore the Australian and Indian health care delivery system, and seek new ways of collaboration between healthcare professionals in the two countries. They can exchange views on ensuring culturally competent patient care, thus enriching and advancing the appreciation and understanding of health care systems and nursing in both countries.

Australian delegates can experience nursing care and education in India by visiting hospitals across Kerala. Through direct interaction with the hospital authorities, they can gain a better understanding about health care delivery and make suggestions to improve existing conditions. They will be introducing local nurses to simulation based virtual classrooms for professional development, and discussing job prospects for nurses in Australia.
