THE HCG BULLETIN – November 2018 Editorial

1

Warm greetings yet again from the team at your favourite monthly bulletin! We’re here again to help you to stay on top of what’s new in the HCG family, and to bring you the most relevant work updates and news snippets.

World Diabetes Day is celebrated on November 14th every year, and this year’s theme was The Family and Diabetes – shining the spotlight on how diabetes affects the family. Each of us will surely know someone among the circle of our family or friends who is suffering from diabetes. Unfortunately the incidence of this disease is increasing every year.  It’s important that we raise more awareness about the consequences that can result from uncontrolled diabetes, which can lead to blindness, kidney disease, neural disease and a host of other complications. What many people don’t know is that it is possible to manage your diabetes well through changes in your lifestyle. It’s very important to be well informed about diabetes facts to avoid developing complications now and in future. At HCG, we support diabetes awareness campaigns and do all we can to promote diabetes education.

And that brings us to the last month of yet another eventful year! We can’t believe we are already counting down the days to Christmas. While you make your holiday plans, we wish you all plenty of joy, and sure that the magic of the season will touch you and your loved ones with peace and good will!

As always, if you wish to send in your thoughts and feedback, please do send in an email to usha@mwtedu.com. We’re signing off now…
