A sumptuous spread on a banana leaf, highly competitive snake boat races, pretty maidens elegantly decked in white and gold, and intricate pookalams adorning every doorstep… Onam signifies all these and more. Most of all, though, this festival touches every heart and knits every Malayalee family with warmth and togetherness. This year, too, the MWT family got together for Thiruvona Sangamam, the annual Onam festivities that brought together the entire office as one. We bring you pictures.
August 19th was World Humanitarian Day and MWT together with WHO celebrated the contributions of healthcare workers across the globe, each of whom has taken a conscious choice to serve their communities with devotion and often at risk to their own lives. We are glad that in our own way we are able to contribute to the growing numbers of trained confident healthcare professionals who are making their mark in many countries in the world.
