In this issue, we bring you news about all the conferences, seminars and workshops that have been held in March, and the classes that were conducted. We talk about overseas visits that have happened and that are slated to happen. Our students are going places- many are attending the next IRON batch at IHNA, Melbourne. We are now facilitating nurses who wish to work in Ireland with interviews for placement, and many qualified nurses are showing interest in this scheme.
World TB Day was held on 24th March, and we bring you a short article on TB awareness and how prevention measures need to be implemented. The WHO has announced that it hopes to have this bacterial infection entirely eradicated from the world by 2050. Let’s take a small step by creating more awareness about this unfortunately all-too-common disease!
Summer has set in and we hope you are all taking measures to stay cool. Drink plenty of water, stay hydrated and keep indoors as much as you can!
