The MWT BULLETIN – MAY 2015 EDITORIAL

mwtmay

A warm hello from the team at your favorite monthly newsletter. The MWT Bulletin is back again, full of cheer …with news and updates on events across the MWT offices.

Every year, the week starting May 6th through May 12th is celebrated as Nurses’ Week, and International Nurses’ Day falls on May 12th which is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. The MWT Bulletin would like to recognize the contributions made by our selfless nurses, and show our deep appreciation for the caring and compassionate work they do. Thank you to the MWT nursing community…all of you are in your own way making a difference to many lives, in different parts of the world!

And we at MWT are trying to do what we can as well, to add to the growing numbers of bright nursing students who have obtained nursing education with our support. We are committed to working towards shaping confident, well-qualified healthcare personnel who – above all – provide a warm, personal touch to patient care.

Our precious reserves of water are dwindling, and we bring you an article that provokes thought. Without sufficient clean fresh water supply, our life as we know it will change forever- and not in a good way. Let’s do what we can to spread awareness on this critical issue, and save the planet before it’s too late.

Do you have anything to tell us? Send in your feedback to usha@mwtedu.com. I’d love to hear from you! Goodbye for now, then, and have a wonderful month ahead before we meet again.
