This month we have introduced a new course, the ONP (Overseas Nursing Program) which is a special Bridging Program for nurses wishing to practice in the UK, who have passed their qualifying exams abroad and are registered overseas. The purpose of this program is to ensure that these nurses understand the local laws, regulations and healthcare practices in the UK. It also helps to demonstrate their present competency levels in all aspects of nursing.
There has never been a more challenging and exciting time to work in health and social care in the UK. This programme is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is suitable for overseas qualified nurses who wish to register with the NMC as a professional nurse.
