HCG Bulletin March 2017 Editorial

g

A very good day to our readers from across the world! Another eventful month has rolled past and we are already at the end of March.

It is in the nature of humans that we truly value anything only when it is in scarce supply. This summer, as temperatures reach new sizzling maximums, wells are running dry across the country. The theme for World Water Day, held on 22nd March, was “Why Waste Water?” It has been estimated by the UN that in two decades from now, approximately one-third of the world’s population will suffer from chronic water shortages. We all need to spread awareness of the real fact that water is life − and without clean water, life as we know it simply cannot be sustained. Let us all invest in the future of our planet and garner the foresight to tackle our growing water shortage problems. We bring you an article on World Water Day and urge all of you to start conserving every drop of this precious liquid − as only when it is no longer there in plenty will we truly regret all our wasteful habits of the past!

We help our readers stay current through updates in the world of education, healthcare and nursing. You can read all about the various seminars and conferences that were held last month, and about new healthcare programmes that are slated to be held next month.

If you have any thoughts to share, do write in to me at  usha@mwtedu.com. Get connected to all our readers!

Take care, and stay cool in this summer heat!
