Ltd. held a promotional seminar on our American Heart Association (AHA) accredited Courses and Professional Development (PD) Courses at the JMP Hospital, Piravom, between 3 and 4.30 p.m. on the 24th September, 2013. There were 15 participants and the seminar was held to create awareness about these courses and point out the benefits that are afforded to healthcare professionals.

Jidhin Joseph from MWT IHM and Rajesh C from MWT Education Consultancy presented the seminar and addressed the doubts of the participants. Rajesh talked about the various opportunities that are available for nurses whose dream is to work and settle down overseas.

Note on our AHA accredited courses: Systematic understanding and practicing the flow of care developed by the American Heart Association (AHA) can help improve survival rates in emergency situations. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is the urgent clinical intervention that is necessary to treat cardiac arrest, stroke or other such life threatening medical emergency situations. ACLS lays out the proper treatment techniques for these emergency situations using definite rules. BLS (Basic Life Support) teaches healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
