The MWT Bulletin May 2014

The dust has settled across the country, after the elections that have ensured that India has a Modi-led BJP Government at the helm. The world is now watching to see whether he is able to bring some semblance of political stability to the Government, and whether his promises of combining development with secularism will hold good. Only time will tell!

While political history was thus being created at the centre, the marketing teams at MWT have been expanding their reach across the country! MWT-IHM has been conducting many training courses at various locations in Kerala. Successful sessions were conducted at many cities and towns that spanned the state- Alappuzha, Mavelikara, Thodupuzha among others. Kudos to the stellar efforts of our dynamic marketing executives!

We were pleased to host a visit from our Malaysian delegates, who were very impressed with our staff and infrastructure. During their five day visit they toured MWT and IHM offices and visited several other hospitals as well. They also got to soak in a slice of Kerala culture with city tours, a houseboat cruise and an invigorating visit to an Ayurveda spa.

Decision letters have started coming in from AHPRA- these have been on hold since October last year due to internal reviews and processing changes. We can now expect a flurry of activity to start as many nurses will now sign up for the IRON program that can be the start of a wonderfully fulfilling career in Australia.

We extend a warm welcome to MWT-IHM’s new Principal Mr Jeril Cherian.

As the mercury rises, we look forward to the refreshing monsoon showers which we are told are due to hit the coast next week. Stay indoors as much as you can, all of you, and don’t forget to pack your umbrellas to work every day!

Do keep your emails coming in, and send us your valuable opinions and suggestions on just about anything under the sun. You can write in to usha@mwtedu.com or george@mwtedu.com.
